Raijon has been incredibly instrumental in reminding me of my purpose. I wear many hats. I would like to think I am successful in the many roles and responsibilities I am entrusted with. Through it all, the triumphs and setbacks, successes and failures, Raijon brings it full circle and always reminds me that there is truly only one thing I need to focus on. And that, my friends, is my relationship with Jesus. There were times when I felt like I was in pure darkness and desperation, Raijon said, no, let me show you where the Bible says that what you are going through is in here. And so, out of darkness there is light, there is hope. Raijon allowed that connection to scripture to take place, that connection to the Lord and I will be forever grateful.
One evening I just couldn’t take the loneliness and pain in my life anymore. I was tired of trying to handle it on my own. It wasn’t working. I had no one to talk to because the subject is so taboo. I finally broke down and called my church. I am so glad I did because not only was I loved on and prayed over but was given access to counseling. Raijon and I had sessions via zoom, and it was the turning point in my healing. He helped me to shed the guilt and shame I carried around my neck like a yoke. He challenged me to be in the Word daily. He showed me God’s love, grace and compassion through his gentle counsel. I am ever grateful for Raijon and our sessions.
Alonzo is a practice that loves to walk and talk together throughout life! In stride, we’ll lose what was, for what’s better!
